Enchanted Yarn Crawl "Path Through the Dark Wood" Tam Kit PRE-ORDER

This limited edition kit to celebrate the New Mexico Enchanted Yarn Crawl 2026 is a collaboration between Common Threads Fibers, Ex Libris Yarns, and Practical Stitchcraft Fiber Arts Shop. The kit is inspired by the trek through Mirkwood that Bilbo and the Dwarves took on their way to the Lonely Mountain in JRR Tolkein's novel, The Hobbit. This kit will be distributed in person or via mail during the Enchanted Yarn Crawl spanning September 25th to October 4th. This pre-order will be open from June 22nd to the 30th.  Only 46 kits will available. The kit will include:

• 1 - black and white paper copy of the "Path Through the Dark Wood" tam pattern by Common Thread Fibers
• 1 - coupon code that will allow you to download the pattern for free from Ravelry after October 5th
• 1 - skein (240 yds/100 g) of Ex Libris' Shelley Base, which is a light worsted weight yarn made up of 100% Non-Superwash 20.4 micron US Merino Wool/Rambouillet Wool from Shaniko Ranches (grown, processed, and spun domestically)
• 1 - stitch marker inspired by the creatures Bilbo encountered in Mirkwood

In this listing you must choose what seasonal color of yarn for you tam:

• Spring - Ent Moot (Practical Stitchcraft exclusive color) - Dark Green
• Summer - Renfield - Light Green
• Autumn - Inferno - Orange

• Winter - Garden of Shadows - Blue
